L’Egida, poema in endecasillabi sciolti composto da Girolamo Muzio fra il 1570 e il 1572 e pervenutoci incompleto, celebra le antiche vicende della terra d’Istria e, in particolare, della città di Capodistria (anticamente denominata Egida). Muzio difende il suo poema in alcune lettere indirizzate al nipote Maurizio nel 1575, nelle quali controbatte punto per punto le riserve sul poema formulate dai letterati di Capodistria. Quest’intervento si propone di rileggere tali epistole di Muzio, con lo scopo di evidenziare, in esse, l’orgoglio poetico professato chiaramente dallo scrittore e il suo attaccamento alla terra d’elezione, da lui sempre lodata ed esaltata. The banquettes, landed clusters of dead leaves of Posidonia oceanica (L.) Delile, represent a deposited biomass from sea to land that protects the shoreline from wind and sea erosion as well as constitutes a reserve of nutrients and organic matter for sea prairies. These wracks can become a potential biodiversity hotspot as indicated by a recent investigation on invertebrates that has shown high levels of consumption of detritus (1). This biodiversity, greater than that found in coastal areas without such accumulations, can be explained by the margin effect between the marine and the terrestrial environment. This paper focuses on the measurement of the perception of healthy risk according to personal characteristics. The Physical Risk Assessment Inventory was adopted as measurement tool and it was administered to 551 students enrolled in the first and in the fifth classes of some high schools of Palermo. The analysis of the determinants of the perceived risk is based on its quantitative measures. Therefore the analysis has been developed into two tracks. Si presenta una nuova antologia manoscritta di canzoni siciliane, conservata a Catania presso un privato e databile intorno al 1600, che contiene una cospicua sezione di più di cinquanta ‘ottave’ intestate a vari autori accanto a 349 'canzuni' in massima parte adespote.
